Ooooh I do love me some banana bread! It’s an easy and delicious way to use up those black bananas that get left hanging around in your fruit bowl.
Banana bread has been on my ‘to blog’ list for a while now so I am so pleased to finally share this recipe with you. This makes a great dessert, afternoon treat or breakfast along with some fresh fruit. It is also great served with a little natural nut butter. Make sure those banana are good and black for a sweet and most delicious bread.

1st July 2015 at 11:23 amMade this last night to free up space in my fruit bowl and I love it! I’m a former BB hater (dunno why really) but made this and sliced with peanut butter it’s so good. Tiny bit dry as I had my oven too hot and caught the top but lesson learned. I also used “wholemeal bread flour” which is just regular wholemeal flour and added 21/2 tsps baking powder and it rose fine. Will try and use the s/r flour next time tho! X
