Sometimes you just need a slice of pizza. Like at your kids birthday parties, whilst having movie night with your family or during the Eurovision Song Contest (Ooh yeah, that’s the way I roll people!). I believe that pizza is something that should be enjoyed by everyone, every once in a while.
Even my cheese phobic 5 year old can enjoy it. (He’s not really cheese phobic, he just really doesn’t like cheese!). I just leave the cheese off of his pizza and he is a happy chappy.

- spring onion

Clean Eating Vegetarian Pizza

Clean Eating Vegetarian Pizzas make the best wholesome comfort food. They are high in fibre and packed with essential vitamins and minerals.
Ingredients
- 1 quantity Clean Eating Wholemeal Pizza Dough see link above
- 4 Tablespoons Tomato Puree
- 2 - 4 teaspoons Dried Herbs oregano, basil, Italian herbs - whatever you like
- 80 grams Cheese organic if possible.
- Unlimited Choice Of Vegetables
- - Mushrooms
- - Onions
- - Peppers
- - Courgette
- - Olives
- - Tomatoes
Instructions
- Roll out your pizza dough into 4 equal balls.
- Place each pizza base onto a baking tray lined with grease proof paper.
- Cover the pizza bases with a tea towel and set aside for 30 minutes whist you prepare the toppings. Pre heat the oven to 200°C.
- Slice up your vegetables and grate your cheese.
- Once the dough has rested for 30 minutes, spread 1 tablespoon of tomato puree onto each.
- Sprinkle over half of the cheese over each pizza and top each one with 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of dried herbs.
- Top each pizza evenly with your favourite vegetables and then top the vegetables with the last of the cheese.
- Place into the oven for 25 minutes, until the base is cooked through. You will be able to tell this by feeling the bottom of the pizza base.
- If the top of your pizza is overcooking before the base is done, just cover it with some kitchen foil, or turn down the oven.
- Once cooked, allow to cook slightly before serving and enjoying!
