Clean Eating Fruit Pizza Toast

I have been making these sweet fruit pizza toasts for a few years but never thought to blog the ‘recipe’ as it was so basic. But I made some for my boys this week as an after school snack and I thought it would actually be quite a fun recipe to share. Plus, they are too pretty to keep all to myself!

Berries (and watermelon) are some of the things I look forward to most about the summer. Every year on my eldest sons birthday we all go to our local ‘pick your own’ strawberry patch and spend an hour picking (and eating) the sweetest, juiciest warm summer strawberries. It is one of my favourite family traditions.

This is a great way to get some goodness into your little ones whilst filling their hungry little tummies as breakfast or a snack… unless of course they are like my little one who rearranges the toasts until he gets allllll of the strawberries because those are the only berries he likes! <3

I used health boosting manuka honey (one of the few health food claims I do believe in even with the expensive price tag) but any set honey works really well.

Instructions

  1. Spread each slice of toasted bread with 1 tsp of honey.
  2. Top with a mixture of the fresh fruit and serve.
