It’s a great way to start your day and has been the perfect breakfast to fuel my morning runs this past week.

This porridge is really yummy, like eating date and walnut cake for breakfast but without the sugar, saturated fat and empty calories! I love that the dates sweeten the oats for you, so you wont even need to add any honey or maple syrup.
Ingredients
- 20 grams Rolled Oats
- 180 ml Oat Milk
- 2 Medjool Dates stones removed
- 20 grams Walnuts
- 1 teaspoon Ground Flaxseed - optional
Instructions
- Dice up the dates and roughly chop the walnuts.
- Add the dates to a saucepan with the oats and milk and cook for approximately 2 minutes.
- Once cooked, pour into your serving bowl and top with chopped walnuts and a splash of cold milk if desired.
