I love Chinese 5 Spice, it has the power to transform meat, rice and vegetables into something extra special. My husband loves it on pork steaks cooked in the oven with some sweet potato mash. Yummy!

If you don’t like pork, you can try this with chicken, turkey or even tofu.

Clean Eating Quick Chinese Pork

This recipe is so simple, quick and delicious that it could be a new week night favourite.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place the oil in a non stick frying pan or wok and heat over a medium high heat.
  2. Add the pork, Chinese 5 spice and tamari sauce and cook for about 3 minutes or until the outside of the pork is cooked.
  3. Add the pak choi to the frying pan and turn down the heat slightly to a medium heat. Cook for a further 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Mince/finely grate the garlic into the pan and cook for a further minute.
  5. Check that the pork is cooked through completely and serve with wholegrain rice.
