I am now pretty convinced that the best ever smoothies are made with pineapples. Pineapples are one of the most amazing fruits. When they are ripe they are so incredibly sweet and juicy and their strong flavour makes them the perfect ingredient to disguise the taste of kale or spinach in a green smoothie.
I have been making smoothies for my boys and freezing them in my Squeeze Please Reusable Pouches ready to pack into school lunch boxes. This smoothie freezes really well as does this Watermelon Pineapple Smoothie.
If you are looking for a nutrient dense ‘grown up’ smoothie you must try this Tropical Kale Smoothie from the lovely Louise at Goodness Me. It is amazing!
