Clean Eating Blueberry Pear Protein Smoothie

Here’s a pretty protein smoothie to pep up your day! If you have been following me on Instagram you will have noticed my recent love/hate relationship with my breakfast smoothies.

Since starting back on my BBG workout I have been more aware of the foods I am eating and trying to get more protein into my diet. Since I avoid dairy (as it can trigger a migraine for me) I looked into other protein powders and found the brilliant Pulsin’natural and unflavoured vegan protein powders.

It took me a little while to get used to the taste. The powders are unflavoured but that does not mean that you can’t taste them….! I wasn’t loving the first smoothie I tried but instead of putting the packets into the back of the cupboard and forgetting about them for a few years I persisted and found a few different flavour combos which worked for me.

This is most definitely my favourite. Frozen blueberries make this so convenient (and nice and cold) and the pear keeps it smooth and sweet. Chuck all the ingredients into your NutriBullet (WIN one HERE) and you are good to go.

This works out at around 300 calories with the coconut oil, but can be adapted and changed to suit your needs. Add a sweet ripe banana and a little more water or milk to make it a bigger meal.
