Clean Eating Basic Homemade Granola

Clean Eating Basic GranolaClean Eating Basic GranolaClean Eating Basic GranolaAfter creating my well loved Maple Pecan Crunch, I didn’t really think about trying to create any more cereal recipes because how could I top that?! It is heaven in a jar!

However, I have been craving more to my morning oats and figured it was about time to make a real granola recipe, so I set to work in my kitchen and this was the result. It is B-E-A-UTIFUL! My husband says he likes this better than the Maple Pecan Crunch but I think they are equally as scrumptious in their own individual ways.

I love the fullness of this granola and the variety of flavours and textures just seem to tick every box for me in the morning. It tastes great just topped with milk or for a real treat, why not scatter it over some Rachel’s Organic Greek Style Natural Yoghurt drizzled with honey and top with berries….. It is the ultimate breakfast!

This is just a basic recipe, a good standard ‘go to’ granola so feel free to jazz it up any way you like by adding cinnamon or other spices, swapping the nuts for seeds or adding a variety of dried fruit.
