Clean Eating Chocolate Milk

Clean Eating Chocolate MilkClean Eating Chocolate MilkClean Eating Chocolate MilkOoooh my boys are all so happy about this recipe! My little ones really seem to appreciate ‘spashoul duce’ or special juice to me and you. They have both been really good at just drinking water since they were weaned and it has made my life a lot easier.

Every now and then it is nice to enjoy a special drink whether its a smoothie, fruit juice or a milkshake and this Clean Eating Chocolate Milk is the real deal! So rich and so sweet you would never know that it was actually good for you! I used Almond milk for this recipe but you can use any milk you like. (My husband drinks his with organic whole milk).

Helpful Tip: I used my nutribullet to make this milk but if you don’t think your blender will blend the dates then you can pre soak them  for a few hours or overnight to make the skins even softer. You can buy the raw cacao powder from health food shops.

Note: If you don’t have a very sweet tooth, start out with 1 medjool date and taste before adding the other. Same goes for the cacao powder, if you would rather it be less rich try adding 1 teaspoon and tasting before adding another.
