Clean Eating Almond Porridge is the perfect way to start the day. A great source of protein and complex carbohydrates. Add a juicy side of fruit and you will have a complete meal.
Almond milk is a really great nutritious alternative to your regular milk, just be sure to buy the unsweetened variety. You can get it in most UK supermarkets, I usually buy the Blue Diamond brand and its often on offer for £1. I used Crunchy Meridian Almond Butter in this recipe too.

Clean Eating Almond Porridge is the perfect start to the day. A great source of protein and complex carbohydrates, grab a piece of fruit and you have a complete meal.
- Place the oats and almond milk into a saucepan and turn on the heat.
- Once it starts to bubble, turn the heat down and let the oats cook for around 3 minutes.
- Once cooked, turn off the heat and stir in almond butter.
- Serve with extra almonds if desired, and don't forget to eat some fruit too!
