Im not quite ready to let go of our lazy summer mornings, breakfast at 9am and eating whatever we fancy. But a new school year brings with it early wake up calls, structure and routine so I have put together a few different ‘make ahead’ breakfast ideas that will keep life fun and exciting and with a little forward planning can also help to make our weekday mornings run smoother than ever.
Most of these recipes can be made in advance and stored in the freezer. Take out the night before to defrost and enjoy with a protein packed smoothie or side of fruit and yoghurt.
